It was just a dream. Some good (but not ole) American music from Delta Blues genre. It was recorded way back in 2012, but fits nicely in a playlist of recordings of Delta Blues from the late '20's and 30's.

The words, the sentiment the blues Fits into the modern zeitgeist as naturally as it would have back in the day, which means how far have things changed anyway since that era where the Blues were a recurrent theme? I could go on about what I consider the transition to modern times would be, but any thought outside acceptable accepting dogma protected by state-sponsored terrorism is "forbidden" but never openly expressed as such--just punitive measures apply if one steps outside of just blankly accepting and never making any critical judgment unless you are a sanctified component of the state allotted a slot in the mind programming spectrum, oh so tightly controlled but seeming to be "free". Makes one dream of a day....

The lyrics are in keeping with humorous sarcastic bemoaning of one's situation that the Blues resonate with.
