Movie review. MAGALAND. What is this horrible movie which won the big, big Golden Shower award for best movie in 2021. How much did that cost to bribe the Awards slingers, I wonder? Contrast that to 1982's, LIQUID SKY--have you heard of it? Compare: what is only a "fringe, cult" classic worth? at least a few pounds of gold compared with the boring Golden Shower award winner which is worth inflationary prices of inflated worth with a huge bubble of meaningless ready to burst at every moment this movie draws you into a long sleep as the film goes on and on into nothingness for a few hours and even the sunset you slumber down into at the end of the movie is a watered down sepia shade of meaninglessness. and bleak and dreary ugliness with people cheery because they are too dumb and numb to understand they are actually suicidal and hopeless. Nomadland sleeper in an RV movie, A movie which won in the era of MAGA tedium exploding into near catastrophic violence. Nomadland is a by-product of MAGA imaginary Hallmark happiness living in ugly surroundings, poverty and ugly people doing stupid things and all put into a frame of American winner category.. Contrast: Pre-MAGA Liquid Sky, which keeps you so alive, shocked, surprised and still the undertone is dreary despair but done at least with neon flair and absolutely fabulous hair (and makeup and clothing). Liquid Sky was a product of New York City when rent was still affordable in insect-ridden Alphabet City, lower even in scale to Greenwich Village. Compare this to the post-MAGA-DISORDER BOREDOM movie of 2021. It's like observing the American culture drifting from wild and dangerous to wildly dangerously empty and horrifically meaningless, put into top movie award category after years of traumatizing MAGA chaos which these meaningless MAGA multitudes truly yearn for, shocking meaning by way of the years of Trump shock exalting the MAGA crowds and giving them a sense of hope for their Hallmark devoid meaninglessness-- their meaninglessness drifting in a tide of shallow bad music and ugly surroundings. . The exaltation of the most mundane and dangerously violent culture of America, MAGA, put into top media awards category thanks to mega-media MAGA Trump's influence in the film and Whorewood industry and all the minions operating as lead celebrities and all their producers and governors who have committed every act of every hate crime that MAGA endorses in order to be considered worthy of being governors of these awards ceremonies. Obedience. which obviously means they obeyed orders as these puppet minions always do and thus, they voted this most horrific movie into top tier and awards category for the Golden Showers award top movie of 2021. because it appeals to the meaningless MAGA "Base" which is a violently suppressed genocidal racist faction which lives in a daily bubble of meaningless Hallmark sentimentality in RV's and ugly clothing and stupid rephrasing of Hallmark sentimentality. View the contrast of meaning so sharp it kills in Liquid Sky, to meaninglessness of Nomadland that bursts into murderous riots when they are given permission to step outside of ugly hallmark landscapes. Now exalted by a movie which portrays this essence of ugly in American culture as if it's interesting and noteworthy of highest esteem in arts. Hopefully, next year will have a better selection in the Biden era.

This is a POST MAGA-TRAUMATIZED-STRESS-DISORDER DEPLORABLE MOVIE AWARD WON!!! Win Win Win a movie award representing life for American "losers"/aka MAGA devotees. Finally there is a movie representing the reprehensible (most of them are violent and filthy terrorist gang stalkers, and trust me, the characters in this movie that spout Hallmark sentimentality are vicious murdering bigots who will kill using covert technology any day of the damn week and laugh about it. in this respect, they are absolutely no different from the characters of Liquid Sky who are vicious, mean and will kill if handed the technology which would exonerate them. The difference is that the people who view such diverse (in every respect) movies often have a huge chasm of level of explosiveness ready for mass rioting and death squad activity. Or so I would like to believe. In actuality, the difference is minimal. At least the "crazy" movie is visually stimulating instead of emotionally enervating as MAGALAND people and their movies are.

2021 but it could be pre-historic drifting through de-evolution after a magma plasmatic mass extinction period of finding a path through carnage of the destruction of the hip, beautiful and savage.

Even the review is horrifically boring along with even worse music supporting the badly written review and analysis. 

The empty landscape, the emptier people. The lack of plot and the vacuous meaningless of daily routine set to bleak desperation. A seriously ugly woman, forlorn but finding solace in roaming around in a camper and urinating in the wild fields of some desolate field. Why do movies have to show people urinating as if this is an artistic point of focus on something...I am unsure of what.

She becomes in the course of the few minutes I could tolerate watching this most boring movie: Settled and nested into finding nooks and crannies of pleasantries and discussions exploring the nearly meaningless meaning of life with contented victims of the craggy facial misery set of MAGA deplorables. All characters having accepted the inevitable cheeriness of life without real charm, living within the texture of the unraveling of culture. Ugly people with Hallmark sentiments. 

A movie suited for the MAGA wave after years of new wave, and alternative wave, and classical wave, but this is the result, this movie NOMADLAND of the roaming landscape of the Base which is MAGA NOMADLAND put into movie form. Appealing as the MAGA movement has done, to the wasted, the drunkards, the non-hipsters, the anti-hipsters, the alcoholics of the western fringe who placate themselves with pithy fake happiness memes as consolation for shattered dreams. This movie is a direct result of the 4 years of Trump appealing to every kind of under-the-surface stifled volcano which, in this movie, is just about to explode but they are so confined in poverty and the Hallmark Nice Day paradigm that the explosions of inevitable violence came out in a reality tv show called The News during the Capital riots and Insurrection on January 6, 2021. That day was the inevitable conclusion to Nomadland.

Otherwise, quite a sleeper and the creeper characters were just to ugly and fugly to look at.

PRE-MAGA morbid movie, no wave no brainer excellence unregistered in mainstream media.

LIQUID SKY

1982

Lookin' like it came straight out of a roaring 20's Max Ernst painting, every shot is an eerie sensation of floating in plasma while drinking opium-laced wormwood--(which is something I have never done but it's been done to me). The colors, the bleak vibrancy of decadence and stolid rancor stifled by a silent code of mesmerizing but soulful stares into the other soul of the viewer. Hair and bodies erect but wavering and slinking yet sensual yet devoid of innocence (to the core).

New York city in a place and time that Donald Trump never publicly ventured on a dark rainy night in a dark cloak of invincibility to explore the darker seamy side of his birthright city. Nothing of the plain, lower loser faction in this movie yet it is almost the antithesis of what the MAGA movement is and has become. This is a most excellent but dreary movie if you are looking for a happy ending between a person divided betwixt itself as a male and female complimentary pairing of opposites. The lead performer is a female but plays her complete soul partner as a male. Scenes are shot with her giving her male double a blow job (which is her giving herself a blow job). The oppositional forces between the bleak movie that won a top award and this "cult" movie that won no awards in America but 7 abroad in foreign countries. This movie is special to me in that the filmmaker, Slava Tsukerman, taught film at SUNY Purchase where I was a student for one year (a great year for me). The film came out in 1982, and I was a student at the university where Tsukerman taught in 1984. The atmosphere was of exploring the Village art scene at the time (SUNY Purchase is known as an "art" school within the State University system--just 40 minutes' drive outside NYU, that great city).

Thus, my taste and appetite is always starving when it comes to the mainstream movie awards circuit. 

I see the MAGA influence even in what has won an award and after the rancid aftertaste of the entire movement is slowly dissipating I can only put out this post to try to get people to be interested in reviving at least colorful, beautiful sad and pathos-driven main characters who are sharp, keen and have ZERO HALLMARK sentimentality to deal with the idiosyncracies of colorful personalities rather than the bleak wearing down of the imagination, lifestyle and keen sense of appraisal of life without having to dull the mind and senses that NOMADLAND the dull, dull landscape of boredom has produced to give the MAGALAND (losers) a sense that they are not excluded by the colorful and the brave individuals who dare to make movies about women being raped and then killing the soul mate who has betrayed her as she then gets high with some aliens afterwards who land on her rooftop.

Give me color!

Give me lights!

Give me wild clothing give me girls who are boys and boys who are girls!

Give me dancing give me sharp hate and love and excessive calm bursting into explosions of passions!

Give me NYC in the 80's when it was punk and affordable for art students to thrive in and also to play around without having to die fighting to pay rent.

Doesn't it make you feel alive watching this small clip, as opposed to your senses suddenly shutting off and down when you watch the MAGALAND movie?

One actress gives herself, dressed as a male, a blow job (and then later kills him through her friends, aliens, which live on her patio roof. Now, why can't America come out with a movie similar to this instead of MAGALAND tedium which won such a top award for such bottom mentalities, fashion, culture and lack of meaning and context and...and...etc etc.

Yet this does have great meaning and has absolutely no Hallmark sentimentality. There is no stifled aggression and thus, you won't see artists who watch these films or people who enjoy this movie storming the US Capital because they lack such lustre, life and love or hate in their real, horrific lives which MAGALAND Nomadland so absolutely put on a clay pedestal of highest categorical film in the entire industry of Whorewood.

A woman playing both a male and female, where even her self cannot respect her twin soul mate because the male must dominate. A movie in which people are also bleak and lack meaning but they strive to use whatever they have to paint and make over the bleak and empty inner landscape. There is more but I am tired of fighting hackers while I am trying to write this and endlessly backspace and rewrite so this is the end of this "review" ha yoo! Whatever hackers rewrite I am too tired of fighting to pound out letters and fight hacker terrorists any longer right now.
